Plain language summary: By using Weblico's services, you agree to pay your monthly or yearly subscription, provide the business information we need to deliver our work, and treat all communication professionally. We agree to deliver your website and services as described, on time. Either party can end the relationship at any time with no penalty.
Section 01

Parties to This Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between:

Weblico (referred to as "Weblico", "we", "us", or "our")

And the individual or business accessing or subscribing to Weblico's services (referred to as "you", "your", or "the Client").

By booking a strategy call, submitting a preparation form, or subscribing to any Weblico plan, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Section 02

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing weblico.co.za or engaging with any Weblico service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

These terms apply to:

  • All visitors to weblico.co.za
  • All individuals who book a strategy call
  • All clients subscribed to the Launch or Growth plan
  • All individuals who engage with Weblico through any channel
Section 03

Services Provided

Weblico is a Digital Growth Partner™ — we provide a managed website subscription service delivered across two plans:

Launch Plan (R199/month) — A professional website foundation service including WordPress website build, mobile optimization, basic SEO setup, hosting and maintenance, security monitoring, contact forms, and ecommerce light (up to 25 products). Optional add-ons available.

Growth Plan (R1,500/month) — A comprehensive website lead generation system including everything in Launch plus AI chat and automation, advanced SEO, email marketing, landing pages, lead magnet system, lead tracking, booking system, conversion optimization strategy, and the Weblico Client Dashboard. Delivered in a phased 90-day roadmap.

Weblico reserves the right to modify, update, or improve services at any time. Any material changes that affect the core value of your plan will be communicated in advance.

Section 04

Subscription and Billing

Monthly Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due on the same date each month as the original subscription date.

Yearly Billing

Yearly subscriptions are billed annually in advance. Yearly plans provide one month free (equivalent to 11 months of payment). Launch plan clients on yearly billing have all add-on setup fees waived.

Add-Ons (Launch Plan)

Add-on features carry a once-off setup fee payable at the time of activation, plus a recurring monthly fee added to the base subscription. Setup fees are waived on yearly billing.

Payment

  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR)
  • Payment methods will be confirmed during the onboarding process
  • Late or failed payments may result in suspension of services
  • Weblico reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days written notice
Section 05

Cancellation Policy

Either party may cancel the subscription at any time. There are no lock-in contracts and no cancellation penalties.

Monthly subscriptions: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining days of the period.

Yearly subscriptions: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual billing period. Refunds for unused months on yearly plans are considered on a case-by-case basis at Weblico's discretion.

To cancel, contact Weblico using the details in Section 15.

Upon cancellation, Weblico will provide reasonable assistance to transition your website and data. The specific terms of website ownership upon cancellation will be confirmed during the onboarding process.
Section 06

Client Obligations

To enable Weblico to deliver its services effectively, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date business information when requested
  • Complete strategy call preparation forms before scheduled sessions
  • Respond to Weblico's requests for content, feedback, and approvals within reasonable timeframes
  • Ensure that all content and materials provided to Weblico do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Pay subscription fees on time and in accordance with the agreed billing schedule
  • Treat all Weblico communication professionally and respectfully
  • Not attempt to copy, resell, or distribute Weblico's systems, processes, or intellectual property

Delays caused by a client's failure to provide required information or approvals may affect delivery timelines. In such cases, Weblico's delivery guarantees may not apply.

Section 07

Weblico Obligations

Weblico agrees to:

  • Deliver services as described in the selected plan
  • Build and deliver Launch websites within 30 days of onboarding
  • Follow the 90-day phased delivery roadmap for Growth plan clients
  • Maintain website hosting, security, and performance on an ongoing basis
  • Communicate proactively regarding any delays, issues, or changes
  • Handle all client information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA
  • Honour the service guarantees described in Section 11
Section 08

Intellectual Property

Weblico's intellectual property

All systems, processes, frameworks, templates, and methodologies used or developed by Weblico remain the intellectual property of Weblico. Clients do not acquire ownership of Weblico's proprietary systems by subscribing to a plan.

Client's intellectual property

All content, branding, logos, images, and materials provided by the client remain the intellectual property of the client. By providing such materials to Weblico, the client grants Weblico a non-exclusive licence to use them for the purpose of delivering services.

Website ownership

The website built for a client on a Weblico subscription is operated within Weblico's managed environment for the duration of the subscription. Specific terms regarding website ownership and data portability upon cancellation will be confirmed during onboarding.

Portfolio and case studies

Weblico reserves the right to reference client websites and results as part of its portfolio and marketing materials, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

Section 09

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat all confidential information shared during the course of the business relationship as strictly confidential. This includes — but is not limited to — business strategies, financial information, client data, and proprietary systems.

Neither party will disclose confidential information to any third party without prior written consent, except where required by law.

This confidentiality obligation survives the termination of the subscription agreement.

Section 10

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Weblico's total liability to a client for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client in the three months preceding the claim.

Weblico is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
  • Loss of revenue, profit, or business opportunity
  • Losses arising from third-party tools, platforms, or services (including WordPress, Klaviyo, Tidio, Google, and others)
  • Losses arising from events outside Weblico's reasonable control (force majeure)
  • Losses caused by the client's failure to fulfil their obligations under Section 6
  • Search engine ranking changes or algorithm updates beyond Weblico's control

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Section 11

Service Guarantees

Weblico offers the following service guarantees:

Delivery Promise

If Weblico misses an agreed delivery milestone through no fault of the client, that month's subscription fee will be waived. This guarantee is void if delays are caused by the client's failure to provide required information or approvals.

Performance Promise

Within 6 months of the Growth plan system going live, the website will be actively generating traffic and capturing leads through the installed systems. "Actively generating traffic and capturing leads" means measurable visitor activity and at least one lead capture event per month through installed forms, chat, or booking systems. If this is not achieved through no fault of the client, Weblico will continue working at no additional charge until the benchmark is met.

This guarantee does not promise specific revenue, sales volumes, or search engine rankings, which are influenced by market conditions, competition, and factors outside Weblico's control.

Partnership Promise

Clients may cancel their subscription at any time with no penalty, as described in Section 5.

Section 12

Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription agreement at any time. See Section 5 for cancellation terms.

Weblico reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate services — without refund — in the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment of subscription fees after reasonable notice
  • Fraudulent or misrepresentative information provided by the client
  • Use of Weblico's services for illegal purposes
  • Conduct that is abusive, threatening, or harmful toward Weblico or its team
  • Breach of these Terms and Conditions that is not remedied within 14 days of written notice
Section 13

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before initiating formal legal proceedings.

Section 14

Changes to These Terms

Weblico may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify active clients via email with at least 14 days notice before the changes take effect.

Continued use of Weblico's services after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

The most current version of these Terms and Conditions will always be available at weblico.co.za/terms-and-conditions.
